FORWARD
First and foremost, it is our pleasure to be able to host this honourable annual event in “The Pearl of Orient; Penang”. Not only Penang is famous for it’s sun, sea and sand but the most remarkable is the food. As the melting pot of a diversity of cultures and traditions, variety of traditional and fusion food can be found all over the island. Therefore, Penang has always been the food haven for food lovers…
Last but not least, we would like to welcome the participation from all Asian Pacific members to discover for yourselves the true culinary experience.
Our 2008 AGM as part of a Mini Festival will be in Penang. A formal AGM notice, with Agenda, will follow later in the year.
PROGRAMME
Friday October 24th arrive at the 5 star Eastern & Oriental Hotel where a number of suites are being held. A rate of US$175.00 (including breakfast) has been negotiated.

| Saturday 25 | 10.30am.The Asian Pacific Zone AGM. 12.30pm.Lunch at the “Thirty Two” Restaurant featuring “Nyonya” food. Nyonya is the cuisine of the Nyonya and Babas of Penang and has evolved over the years into a kind of delicious cooking available only in Penang. 7.30pm. Dinner at the Forum Restaurant – Chinese Cuisine. |
